...We had been to the Art Gallery together and done some collages side by side. We carried these across the Victoria Bridge and went to the Sushi Bar on Elizabeth Street. I sat across from her and watched her, feeling full of love for her and full of the feeling of unspoken closeness. Maeve was a very picky eater and only ate avocado sushi. But we were both very happy, and I found my eyes filled with tears of gratitude for the experience of being with her. This animation was created for "After Maeve", but it didn't fit in there.
